"I Don't Know How It Feels To Be You"

I don't know......... I really just dont know..... How it feels to be you.... I dont know how it feels to be you..... though I try my best to understand what you arei going through.... I dont know how it feels to be you.....

And though I try to learn your steps, I dont know what makes you dance.... I dont always know what turns your gray skies back to blue..... Though I try to see your side and I swallow all of my pride..... There is no way that I can take a step in your shoes.....

Cause I dont know, how it feels to be you...... I will always try my best to understand what you are going through.... I just dont know how it feels to be you.....


But if you lay your cheeks up on my chest, and just tell me everything that haunts your mind....Now, I know that I may not have all of the answers.... but if you let me, I can just try baby......and when I start to think that I have had enough...... Something tells me that I should just wait a little while longer......and I want you to know that I am sorry, for being a little hard on you sometimes.....

But I dont know how it feels to be you..... though I try to understand the best I can..... I just dont know how it feels to be you...

But You know that I love you...... but sometimes I have to wonder, and everyday I ask myself, are we really even on the same page? And every day I wonder, is there something that I'm supposed to say? I wonder baby..... cause you and I are so in line, that sometimes I think that maybe I just pick the wrong lines.....
And I can feel it in my heart, you have to know how much I adore you...... and it seems sometimes, you cant even look me in my eyes..... and I really wish I knew all the answers why, but I dont.....

I dont know how it feels to be you..... but Ill do the best I can, to understand and be right here no matter what you are going through......
