White Rappers "HipHop Music" & J. Cole Controversy

[HipHop Dx]:J Rag™ is a white HipHop Recording Artist who came onto the Music Scene in the late 90's, early 2000's & with the Social Media building hype around the J.Cole Song "Firing Squad" where he makes comment to White Rappers, HipHop, and more specifically Eminem.. And the Talent in question of the White Artists doing "Black-Music"... and this is what he had to say.......

"Social Media is taking the J.Cole Lyrics to this Verse a little bit out of context, and making it into something that it's really not... J.Cole is very talented and you can't take that away from him. At this point I just think that it shouldn't be White Music, Black Music, it's just creativity, an Art Form, Talent, and making Good Music. Its the same as flipping it and saying Black Artists shouldn't do Rock, Pop, Country. It just sounds Stupid. And with the timing of the Racial Tension caused through these Trial Decisions, It is just making more emphasis on it and it's being turned into something it's not....

With that said....I am just gonna touch on what was said in the full article.... You may have to open it and read it, to know why I am saying what I am saying.... Eminem still makes great music. J.Cole makes great Music. And those who disagree or argue... just aren't listening... Everyone of Em's Albums has Great Song after great song... Word play, Bars, Music, Lyrics, Delivery, Flow, Content, Etc.... Eminem is arguably one of the greatest on the mic and to make songs. Ever. You dont have to dance to the shit for a song or album to be great!! Thats the double sided edge on this blade. In one breathe comments like that are made.... then the next, the lack of great music, lyrics, depth, quality, and content is due to everyone trying to make a club or dance song instead of making great music with substance.... I usually stand clear of weighing in on these opinion driven conversations.... I agree Iggy and Macklemore are not good enough to be praised as they are.... but Eminem is on a whole other level... and making that judgement again, profiling is what we should be steering away from. On another note... J Cole was never dissing anyone, he just reiterated on what has been touched on before by others and making a concious opinion. And the song is dope. The bars where he goes in are well put together... I think he is growing and has great talent and lyrics. Good Music. People shouldn't make more out of this shit than what it really is...."

Signs You're A Push Over

As a man's relationship with a woman progresses, it's no secret that he's going to become softer towards her. However, there’s a definite distinction between being committed and being straight up whipped. If you've ever wondered whether or not you're one of the many unfortunate suckers out there who has joined the ranks of the whipped, here are 8 warning signs......

1. You have to consult her before making plansShe believes that she should be able to make every decision in your life and you have little or no say in the affairs that directly concern you. You must first confer with her before making any plans and expect to be punished later for going through with them. 

2. She uses sex as leverageShe uses sex as a weapon to get what she wants or to reiterate when she's angry. Even though you hate this, you go along with it to get her to "put out."

3.  You no longer have time for the guysYou've started to alienate your friends. You've become way less available (or not available at all) and find yourself constantly saying “no” to any invitations because she wants you to spend every waking moment with her. 

4. Your friends have been magically replaced with her friendsShe tells you that it’s no longer acceptable for you to spend time with your old crew and that you are only allowed to hang with this new group who oddly turn out to be her friends.

5..  She has ridiculously emasculating requests Basically, you've been turned into a trained dog who caters to his girl's every need. She makes you constantly watch chick flicks and show tunes (even when the game is on.) She sends you to purchase her feminine hygiene products, expects you to be able to talk with her about other men being attractive, order “girly” drinks when you go out together and keep her favorite Kelly Clarkson CD in your car. 

6.  She keeps constant tabs on youShe calls you 10-15 times per day to keep track on what you're doing, who you're with and where you're going next with each call. She also expects you to call her multiple times a day and you even carry your cell phone into the bathroom to avoid missing her calls.    

7. She commits you to eventsJust when you thought your calendar of events was open for the next few weeks, little did you know she has already penciled you into about a dozen boring affairs you had no knowledge of. The really sad thing is that she does it without your permission because she knows she doesn't need it. 

8.  You've completely lost sight of yourself  The ultimate sign of being whipped is when you look at yourself in the mirror and no longer think that you are interesting, funny or desirable. Essentially,  you has managed to drain you of all your willpower and creativity. You know you’re acting like a chump and her power over you has made you lose sight of yourself and how to function as a man.

Being a gentleman is important when you are in the company of a lady. Being a gentleman when you are on a date means showing a woman that you are attentive, respectful and well-mannered. We should all strive to be gentlemen at all times; however, many men today shy away from it, attempting to respect a woman’s space and equality. Here are some tips that can show you how to be a true gentleman and possibly double your dating.

1. A gentleman holds the door for a woman Holding the door for woman makes her feel respected and reflects well on you as a person. Do not race your date to get to the door first as this appears insincere.

2. A gentleman pulls a chair out for a womanYou should ensure that your date sits down before you do. Doing such is a mark of respect, good manners and shows that you care about making her feel comfortable.

3. A gentleman turns his phone off during the dateWhen you are on a date, your date should be made to feel like she is the most important person in the world to you at that moment. One of the rudest things you can do is to take a phone call in the middle of your date. Answering your phone on a date means that your date cannot interact in the conversation and is left sitting uncomfortable, waiting for you to finish. Remember to switch your phone off and reply to any missed calls after the date is over.

4. A gentleman avoids using profanityYou should focus on being articulate and being capable of expressing yourself without cursing. Avoiding profanity in your conversations on dates shows that you have high standards for yourself, you respect people around you and indicates that you are intelligent. On the same note, avoid using overly long words that are difficult to understand and can make you look foolish.

5. A gentleman walks his date to her doorstepWalking a lady to her doorstep is an extremely important component of gentlemanly conduct at the end of the date. A woman will feel safer at the end of the evening if she knows she will be accompanied right to her front door; however, never force anything or expect anything to happen--it is her prerogative to decide whether anything happens at the doorstep.

When you're moving in a positive direction, enjoy the ride and give it the time it takes. Even though the fulfillment is not yet complete, you can already begin to experience it. 

Don't be afraid of the time it will take to make real progress. Be thankful for the opportunity to make an increasingly valuable difference as time goes on.There is great joy to be found in meaningful effort.

The longer and more committed the effort is, the more joy you are able to experience. Cheerfully give yourself and your work the time it takes. Choose a worthy destination, and treasure every step of the journey.
