Puff Daddy on (Quincy) signing on to 'Empire' Cast

There has been alot of opinion and comments being directed toward Diddy (Puff Daddy) after his discussion with Fox Executives on the terms and contract negotiations for His Son (Quincy) and joining the Cast of The Fox Hit Series "Empire". Diddy said that the terms will have to be adjusted before Quincy would be able to join the Cast. He will not allow Quincy to sign over a portion of the publishing, and ownership of licensing Rights to the Music. And that has caused people to comment, and make remarks that are clear that they are out of simple hate. Jealousy. Or dislike for Diddy. But not from knowledge of what they are talking about. "People got it so twisted with Diddy and the contracts.... Artists like Ma$e, he did well. Be the first to tell you he made and still makes Money with Puff. Faith Evans made money, Mario Winans, 112 when they renegotiated their contract. And many others. Others made money and didnt have the right money management skills and wanna put the blame on someone else. Out of guilt or just their own ignorance. Then you got artists like G-Dep, Mark Curry, or Black Rob. Who made money. But were in trouble with the law constantly or whatever other issues.... Didnt have great contracts, but cant blame anyone but themselves... These Artists that were on bad boy were in jail for murder, Drugs, drug addicts or something to that effect. Alot of artists did well with Puff. How they managed their own finances and life has nothing to do with Diddy. French Montana is having a great career. Making money. But he had knowledge of the business. He does what hes supposed to to earn money and keep money coming in. Puff is managing the career of Rick Ross. This man is a multi millionaire. And is in the right place. Even The lox older more mature and having better understanding and knowledge of the Business aren't holding a grudge or angry with Puff any longer.... their contract wasnt in their favor. But they signed it. So, as a business man it his job to offer an initial contract to be in his favor. It is up to both parties to negotiate the terms of the contract until it is mutually agreed on... every label does it. Did it. And will continue to do it. Not just Puff Daddy.. It is your business to not sign all your rights and life away.... And get the knowledge to know what you are reading and signing. Or bring representation to assist you. So it drives me crazy when people comment just to comment. Or to talk shit. Talk shit out of simple jealousy or simple hating.... and don't have a clue what they are talking about..."
