Ask Her Out & Get A YES.....

How to Ask Your Crush Out on a Date and Get a Yes

More often than not, it's nerve-wracking to ask someone out on a date. You have one chance to make a good impression and if you suddenly become speechless as you eyes meet, you may loose it. Instead, be proactive, prepare, and think of your approach from the other person's perspective. In other words, what's in it for her (him)?

Keep your approach confident. We know, you have heard this one over and over again. But it's a keeper and if you don't feel the confidence, neither will your perspective date. If you're feeling a little unsure of yourself, practice in a mirror. Sounds corny? Yes, but it works. Everyone from rock stars to politicians practice in front of mirrors. If it works to build self-confidence for their performances and speeches, it will work for your mini-performance too.

Look your date target in the eye and smile, smile, smile. Looking the person in the eye works because it not only says you are confident, but it builds a personal connection and familiarity. (S)he will immediately feel a bond. Small as the bond is in the beginning, I know you want to do everything that helps your chance and this little tidbit helps. Keep smiling while you do it. Everyone looks better in a smile and yours is especially nice.

Motivate your perspective date to take action. That's business speak for make the offer so tempting (s)he cannot refuse. Besides time with cute, sexy you, what else can you offer on the date so it's too hard to resist?

Is she a lover of Chinese food? Offer to take her on a tour of little China in your city pointing out some great, uniquely Chinese shops. End up at a Chinese restaurant that has a great reputation. Does she love wine? Offer to take her to a local winery where you can learn about what wines go with certain foods. She'll love tasting the gourmet delicacies the winery will provide. Is he a fan of the local football team? Snag some great seats and promise him a hotdog and a beer to go with it. How could he resist?

If you practice these three principles the next time you want to ask someone out on a date, you'll really look good. You will appear (and be) confident and friendly, and, most of all, you will stand out from the crowd because your offer is tantalizingly out of the ordinary. Who wouldn't say, "Yes"?
